If you’re packing some or all of your home, these simple rules make a big difference.
Books and tins go in small boxes, while light items like bedding go in large ones. As a result, boxes stay liftable and don’t split.
Wrap glasses and plates individually and fill gaps with paper so nothing moves when you shake the box.
Write the room and contents on the top and one side, so boxes can be read when they’re stacked.
